Ans Dec 22/1892 December 13, 1892 Dear Sir:- I am a member of a Committee to ask members of the Club to become Life Members at $100, so as to create fund which could be used to help the building project. IT is impossible for me to ask all of he members who can afford to pay 100 so I take this means of reaching them. You will be helping the Club along and you will relieve yourself and the Financial Secretary of any further trouble by paying for a Life Membership. I hope you will consider this proposition favorably and send to me a check for $100 within a week as the money is urgently needed. Yours very truly, John C.
