I have just received a note form my friend, Dr. Waller of Columbia School of Mines, stating that Mr. Edison desired to secure a suitable person to take charge of an assay laboratory. Accordingly I called upon you with reference to it. If you are still looking for such a person. I would esteem it a favor if you could make an appointment to meet me on Wednesday at any time save between the the hours of 3 + 5 P.M. Yours very respy
