Dear Sir:
Your favor of the 9th inst received. The registration of your bonds is as follows, 173$50,000 Edison El. Mg 5% Mina Edison
21,000 d. not registered as we have been awaiting completion of your order.
However if you favor it, we shall have these registered in your name and now wait?
The $90,000 Northern Pacific Bonds have been sent to the railroad company for register to Mina M. Edison.
You will notice that the $50,000 Edison Bond do not have the letter “M” in the registry but we acted in strict accordance with your instructions at the time of purchase. If you think advisable we can have them changed to include to the Middle name. [TAE Marginelia] Have it changed to MME
We will arrange to have the interest on the Northern Pacific Bonds when payable mailed to Mrs. Edison at Orange and to this end we shall send a paper to you for her signature.
The balance of your order continues to receive our best attention but the Bonds are still very scarce.
Yours very truly
