October 14, 1892. Edwin G. Bates, Esq., Treasurer, Bates Manufacturing Company, New York City. Dear Sir:- I am now making arrangements for space at the World’s Fair and shall be glad to know what space will be required for your exhibit. Please give me this information based upon square feet, as that is the form in which our application must be made, I am arranging to have the North Am. Phonograph Co., the Edison Manufacturing Co. and the Bates Mfg. Co. go in together, which will effect economy in every direction. Yours truly,
