Dec. 16, 1892. Messrs. Dyer & Seely, No. 36 Wall Street, New York City. Dear Sirs:- Referring to your letter of 7th instant, in regard to Mr. Kennelly’s application No. 1575on a static volt meter, which has been allowed by the Patent Office, Mr. Edison says that there is a misunderstanding about this; that it should not have been charged to the General Electric Company, but to him personally. I return herewith the form of assignment which accompanied your letter. The application should be assigned to Mr. Edison. Yours truly, Private Secretary.
