Dec. 22, 1892. W. J. Jenks, Esq., 44 Broad Street, New York City. Dear Sir:- With reference to your letter of the 12th instant in regard to an apparatus for separating the iron from your [illegible], you had better have a barrel of the stuff shipped at be at Ogden, by freight, and come up there about the 5th of January and I will experiment with it.
