No. 10 Wall Street, N.Y. City, October 28th, 1892. My dear Mr. Tate: I am in receipt of your favor bearing date the 27th inst. and in reply thereto, beg to say that I will take [illegible] in giving you all the statements required, and at the [illegible] time will consult with you as to the information of a new [illegible] of book-keeping by which the business can be run far more intelligently and with greater accuracy. I am gradually bringing order out of chaos, although the mixed up state of affairs compels me to observe the old motto of, “festina lente”, which I am doing [illegible] all possible occasions, Cordially yours, <Scott Tremain> To A.O. Tate, Esq.
