Letterhead: Law Office of Charles E. Crowell, Broadway New York Feb. 11, 1892 My Dear Mr. Edison: At Mr. Upton’s request I brought in Model of my Recording Thermometer, for him to see. He thinks some arrangement can be made to have Standard Thermometer, MFG & [illegible word] Mr. [somebody] Asst. Gen Mgr. thought possible the mechanism could be adapted to utilize for adjusting Volt & ammeter & asked me to have Mr. Kennelly look at it. You could possibly adopt it & I wish you would give me a lift on it if you get a chance. I told Mr. K you had never seen the [Pullman?] Model. [He may?] refer to you Yours, [Signed: W.F Brewster]
