Dear Sir:-
I am working along the line of contract between the trap ridges and adjoining formations between which the magnetic ores from Cornwall through York, Adams and Franklin Co. are found. Many occurrences of trap, similar to that at Cornwall, occur all through this region now there is no reason, theoretically why similar deposits in that of the Cornwall should not occur in the unexplored regions back in the mountains. Beginning outside the Cornwall estates I shall race up and thoroughly investigate this whole region. The map I find in may places gives a strong attraction tough as yet I found it is only in small places.
I am still a little weak and nervous from my sickness, but am again able to tramp all day. The only place where Magnetic ore has ever been found in this whole region is lying against the map with few exceptions.
Yours Respectfully
R.D. Casterline
[TAE Marginalia] When you are at Cornwell run a few cross lines + also see if the deposit extends off of their property. E
