Dear Sir:- Referring to amount of $91,797.60 stated in report of a few days ago to have been the expenses of the North American Phonograph Company for year 1891, there should be deducted from the said amount $25,795.32 which was paid during said year on accounts of the year 1890. The balance representing the expenses for year of 1891 is made up as follows. Office Salaries 14,125. Promotion Expense 1,576.30 Office Expense 3,797.27 Office Rents 2,650. Legal Expense 7,445.89 Total Expense of Office etc $29,594.46 Edison Phonograph Works And other dealers for spplies Extras, Repairs & etc, and Expense of Shop at Jersey City 36,407.82 $66,002.28 Yours very truly, [Signed] SECRETARY.
