- I feel very much ashamed of myself for not writing before but time does fly so here that a month after I have written you does not seem more than a week but now I am going to write you a good long letter to thank you for my box & also to tell you what I have been doing this vacation and what kind of a time I have been having. Just let me thank you Mama dear for my books box. I saw from said contents that you have not forgotten what girls like most when they are away [page break] [I hoped?] and every other imaginable thing in this world. We are surely going to Akron for vacation & are we now [---?] expect to start before Monday for Akron. I do want to go home first. School lets out Friday mornings and we don't start for Akron until Monday. I can spend Saturday & Sunday at home, my real reason is that I want to get something at home would you please write me as soon as possible what you think or telegraph me as I want to get my ticket at a reduction and I will have to send after it next week. Now Mama PLEASE DO NOT (Bungle?) This as it is important to ? From home I am very glad that you did not send cake for it is normally so good that I make myself sick. I heard from ? That you are upen away? In few days is the norm are to do all your ? Shopping that probably the reason. My box came from Park & Giffords, I think you were very wise in going in the city for your shopping the hardest part of shopping for us is the ride on the car into New York. I have had a perfectly lovly time this vacation it would be much easier o tell you what we did NOT do than to attempt to tell you what we did do. Went five times to the theatre and rode and I read in ? Paper that Papa had been ? For a day carriage but Mr. ? Said that he was they shantty prepared so Id ?? Arrived as well. Give my love to him and the boys also baby and yourself with a good (and glad heart will close?) M
