Editor's Notes

15-8056. dear Mina, I will only write a short letter this time as it make me feel a little tired and I want to write a letter to dear Mame. I hope the little boys like there little bookes and do read them sundays, if I was there I would read with them. Please give them my love and best wishes, tell them I hope they will grow to be very good and useful men, always doing for others as they would like to be done by. ## Please except my love and best wishes dear Mina and Mr. Edison from Mother. This is a rather Holy Sabath in 1888, just think how time flyed, it seemes as only yesterday we were all wishing each other happy New year. I wonder if we all have been happy so far this year if nothing has taken place to mar our feelings and we have almost our mindes ther was no use of trying to do right [eve? Ever?] is always present and first to be at work. I trust it has not been hard for us so for all had been bright and easy to do right. I was glad you were having sone one to sew I have seen can get everything you will want or need, we want to have a little [comtay?] next Friday if you can tell me something nice that I can do I would be glad to receive it. I would like to [enter and meshy?] [I wish you was hearing?] ## I think it is a grand thing to dare to do right if we can live every day showing we have a right to do right it will always be easy for us and nothing will be hard for us. I do trust that will be our lot this year through and as long as this life may last, and when done hear below we will be well qualified for the work to be our shear after, I hope these lines will find both of my dear children in good health and happy with each other and others that may be with you. Pa and [???] got home Friday morning about 4 o clock, pa has a very sore hand and we had it [gouldice?] on it, we hope it will soon be better. It seemes strange how he [eaded?] keep up, we were all at Sunday school and church, it is such a pleasant place, we can hear in a grate deal there. Poor Mr. Glover had to take his little father along to day, how sad when one is left with a lot of dear little children. It seemes as though they all was gone, others may try to do for them but all that is not my Father or Mother, how glad I am that I could have my dear Father and Mother untill I was [to the myself?] We are having quite cool weather today, but very little snow, we are looking for Miss Anna at next Tuesday,.Grace read your very nice letter to me
