15-8072. My dear Mina and Mr. Edison, ## This is a lovly Sabath afternoon hear. I wonder if the sun is as bright and lovely there ashear and if all are as well as hear. If so it is a happy day and we have a grate reason to be thankful for the many blessings he is continually bestowing on us. We cannot realize the many favors he does for us. Let us stop and think for one moment. The warm and bright sun, that which makes the grass green of all shades, the birdes to sing and then the birdes to sing and cheer us and then better than all this that I have mentioned he letes us have our dear ones while others are called to part with ## Well dear Mina, I do hope these lines will find you and Mr. Edison well and happy. The snow all gone and every thing in order. According to the papers you have had a very hard time there in New York. Did Mr. Goodrichs get to youur house Monday as you expected. I hope so. Anyway if you was ready for them it is hard to be [disappointed?] ## Well darling I will say goodby. It may be we will start the [crip?] this week, we was afraid to [go so?] soone as it was so hard to get through. Please except love [I mean but open?] love and good wishes from Mother.
