I beg to say that I have in my possession your copy (not original) of Mr. Edison's contract with the Light Co., dated March 8, 1881; also your original copy of the Report of Light co. Special Committee and cotnract of Mutual Release, dated April 23, 1885; and your original copy of the agreement between Mr. Edison, the Lamp Co. and the Light Co., dated Nov. 25, 1887. I mention the fact that I have these papers, because Mr. Upton told me yesterday they might be required. [Ans May 30/89]
