Summary: This is the Certificate of Incorporation for the Edison General Electric Company. This Certificate allows the company to manufacture and do business, and to buy and sell real estate, stocks in other companies, and other kinds of property in order to do so, to mortgage its property. The capital stock of the company is $12,000,000, the company is to exist for 50 years, and there are to be 120,000 shares of stock worth 100 dollars each. The number of Trustees is to be eleven, a majority to be citizens and residents of New York State. The company is to be headquartered in New York, and is to do business throughout the state, the country and the world.
