Summary: This is an executed agreement making reference to a contract between the two parties made on October 28, 1887, as well as an agreement between Edison and Lippincott on June 28th 1888, and proposed agreements between Edison and the North American Phonograph Company, the Edison Phonograph Works, and the American Phonograph Company. ## 1. This contract relieves Edison of the obligation contained in the first paragraph of the agreement of October 28th, 1887, and to transfer to the Edison Phonograph Company any new inventions related to the Phonograph. ## 2. The contract of October 28th 1887 is modified to allow Edison to sell Phonographs and supplies to the North American Phonograph Company 3. The Phonograph Company is relieved of its obligation to pay royalties agreed to in the third paragraph of the said agreement. ### 4. This agreement is made on the assumption that all of the agreements with Lippincott are strictly carried out. ##
