Editor's Notes
Herein are (pieces of) the minutes of a meetings of the Edison Phonograph Company, in which it is decided to strip Gilliland of his agency for the Company, and in which it is decided to pursue legal action against Gilliland and to suspend any payments to him. It is followed a contract with TAE giving him the authority stripped from Gilliland as sales agent for the company. He is charged to sell phonographs throughout the United States and Canada, appointing sub-agents. The contract sets the price of phonographs, the discount available to sub-agents, the profit to go to Edison, etc., and arbitration for disagreement between the different parties. "phono quantities"
