- Title
- [LB003458], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Buckeye Engine Co, October 29th, 1878
- Editor's Notes
- before you set up your engine at my lab as you have proposed, I think it best to have the arrangement by which I allow you to do it clearly expressed. As I understand it you propose to set up the Buckeye Engine at your own expense in order to make a competitive trial or exhibition with the engine which I am putting up. I am willing you should do so with full liberty to you to remove it at any time after if I should not decide to buy it. Is this correct? Please reply.
