Title
[LB006218], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles T Porter, July 20th, 1880
Editor's Notes
Your letter of 29th inst. is at hand. I feel satisfied with our representatives respecting the success, for economy and durability, of the high-speed engine which ou are at present constructing. I have concluded to give you an order for a second engine, to develope 120 H.P. at 600 revolutions per minute with a boiler pressure of 120 lbs.
