Title

[LB006664], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to John Bullock, December 14th, 1880

Editor's Notes

Your favor of No 6th was duly rec'd. A machine costing [pound]500 will pass through 250 tons of sand per day requiring one man and a pair of horses. The sand must be dry. It dos not separate white quartz sand. The cheapness of the process depends upon the percentage of black sand.
