Title
[LB006671], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to William Crookes, December 15th, 1880
Editor's Notes
to Wm Crookes: I have now nearly completed works for a daily ouput of 1200 of my Crbon filiment Lamps in high vacua and am erecting other works which will have a daily capacity of 15000 lamps. It has occured to me that as you have a patent on your Radiometer here that my works and yourself might derive a fair income from the sale of these instruments because our facilities here will permit of their manufacture at a price which will allow of their sale at a 50 cents each or less which will so popularize them that the sales would be very large and permanent. Please answer if you would make any arrangement with me for working the patent.
