[LB007517], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Machine Works, Charles E Rocap, June 19th, 1882
Editor's Notes
I think it would be well to let the Isolated Co have what machines they will pay for & take away from the works. There [--] are the two for Finland. I have telegraphed tonight for shipping order for the remaining eight for Paris Co.##As to your payments you can arrange this with mr Insull. He [says] two weeks he had to wait till between one and two oclock for the [--] of [----] On Saturday he had a number of appointments still he kept before going to the [---] as he presumed you were not wanting money for Pay-Roll as you did not answer my telegram of Friday although it would have been a great inconvenience he would have put off his appointments till later had he been advised of the necessity for so doing.##I have no doubt but what you can arrange this matter all right with Insull
