Title
[LB007904], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Sherburne Blake Eaton, August 15th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Your memo of 11th August.##Agreement with Borden. You re[---] [your] suggestion of one per cent on the Capital stock of the Fall River Co is "a good one." I do not understand this I did make a suggestion about commission but do not see that this has anything to do with it.##Montreal. What would Johnson take with him. We cannot send anythig that will hurt our patents and without we can make a good show it would be worse than useless to make any.##Queen of the Pacific [Plant]. Henderson has good men on the Pacific Coast. When the Boat gets there I think the Plant will receive proper attention.##Light Co of [Fannton] Mass. They wuld probably make a beautiful failure if we sold our apparatus to them Cannot afford to have a blackeye given us in a one horse town like Fannton and be powerless to fix it. I would do us enormous harm as there are thousands of such places. Let them sicken on the arc
