- I saw Mr C. T. Houghton (who was with Hol[yete]) manager of the Corning Glass works He says that his [slow] months are June July & August and then his heavy business commences. He asks if we would not let him make a thousand [g---] & store them so that it would cover him over his busy season He will not ask us to carry them but will ship the fifty gross [per cent -- ---] He is however anxious to be assured by us that we will take this I told him that I would have to communicate with you as to this##If you see no objection to his suggestion please wire me soon as possible to C. F. Houghton Monoghete [House] Pittsburgh Penn saying "all right will take them"
