- Your letter of 18th ult has reached me amd I have review Mr. Tomlinsons note with relation to your proposed connection with the Graphaphone interests.## Under the circumstances as explained by yourself and Mr. Tomlinson. I can discover no impropriety in your undertaking to act for the Graphaphone people; more especially as mt arrangment with the regard to the Phongraph in Europe renders me powerless to offer you any inducement to alter your deicison## I desire to take this apparently to acknowledge my appreiciation of the assistance rendered in the past by yourself and your firm to my interests in your country.
