Title
[LB011163], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edward Hibberd Johnson, January 27th, 1882
Editor's Notes
I beg to confirm cables as follows ##Shipped four dynamos eleventh six thirteenth will ship low volt lamps end month Armington Engines three weeks. Motors shipped twentieth.##The above explains itself. Upton is now making the low volt lamps for you & will ship them just as soon as they are ready - in a day or so.##Armington & Sims have been moving from Lawrence Mass. to Providence R.I & this has disarranged their plans considerably. They are however at work again now & will doubtless be able to supply us with all the Engines we want.##The motors referred to are two 15 Light machines which as I have written you is the best I can do just at present
