- In accordance with instructions from Mr Edison, I forward herewith Continental Cases No 34 and 35, which the parties connected with you may take out in the countries contracted by them if they see fit. They are both important matters - the first covering the only way that large and efficient Pacinotti machines can be made, and the second being for some broad principles in mechanisms for adjusting commutator brushes. Please keep me informed of actions taken with respect to these cases. The corresponding English cases, which I have forwarded this day to Mr Johnson numbered 44 and 45 [transmitting]
