Title
[LB011333], Letter from Richard Nott Dyer to Charles Batchelor, February 20th, 1882
Editor's Notes
In transmitting Continental cases No 33, 34 and 35 I omitted to make mention of the Powers of Attorney that are required. Not knowing in what countries your Company might decide to take out the patents, I did not prepare any Powers of Attorney.##Your solicitor can forward the necessary Powers, and a number of blanks for future occasions. These I can then send with each case. In cases 33, 34, and 35, there is sufficient time for the Powers to be sent here and returned since the U.S. patents will not be issued probably for some time to come, and the English protection for six months to come will only be in the shape of a provisional.##I would like very much to have the benefit of your solicitor's criticism on the preparation of these cases, and would also be glad to have him send such pamphlets relating to patent practice from time to time as would be interesting or instructive.
