- I have a letter from Geo. H. Bliss asking if we [can] supply him with a Storage battery to run a few lights [at] night that is after the Engine [is] attached to an Isolated plant has been stopped. I have replied to the effect that I expect that shortly we shall be able to supply what he wants.##I have been conducting some experiments lately with the object of getting battery for such a purpose. [I] write this in case Mr. Bliss communicates with you on [the] subject
