Editor's Notes
Referring to yours of Sept. 30. What is usually understood by the name "Electrical Engineer" is one fully posted in the theory and practical application of Ohms and other laws and rules for the mathematical calculation of the various properties of the currents, circuits, generators, conductors etc. A good recent work on the subject is by Sylvanus Thompson which may be procured thrugh D. Van Nostrand 23 Murray St N.Y.- I know of no school that makes a specialty of that branch
