Referring to enclosed telegram I beg to state that I have but two contracts as to Telephone for Australia the first one being with the Western Electric Manufacturing Co of Chicago by which they undertake to pay me $1.00 for every instrument they put up in Australia, the second Agreement is with the Oriental Telephone Co of London assigning to them my Contract with the W. E. M. Co and also any other rights I may have in the way of Patents or Goodwill in Australia. [missing test] my name in Australia in connection with telephone outside these two agreements it is entirely without my knowledge or approval & if I can be of any assistance to the Oriental Telephone Co in preventing any such fraudulent use of my name si shall be most happy to do so
