Title
[LB014356], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles Batchelor, October 29th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Your letter of 14th inst came to hand yesterday and in reply I would state that I do intend to furnish apparatus to England; & that I do not wish you to bid for the work. Of course if the English Company wish to manufacture they can do so but I think I shall always be able to supply them from here much cheaper. I have written to the Indian & Colonial Co on the subject.##Your cable about Armington Engines came to hand yesterday. I shall doubtless be able to give you a definite answer by Wednesday next.##I am sorry you got another shipment of bulbs marked "Electric Lamps." We were too late to get the alteration made i the B/E. It will not occur again however.
