Your favor of 8th inst as to R & R machines came duly to hand The trouble with the Cap that screws on the Commutator has been set all right now & you will not fine the same defect in machines of later make.##As to the Shafts being out of true I think they are all right when they leave Goerck Street. Dean says he is positive of this. The trouble may be in handling the armatures while in transit. They are [girth] heavy & we do all we can to pack them securely but if they are not handled carefully it is possible they may get damaged.##Your letter as to marking packages & sending lists of contents was also received. I have [----] such instructions on this subject & we will do our best to remedy the trouble you speak of. If it occurs again please notify us
