Is it not possible to make some arrangement by which the weekly laboratory statement can be paid more promptly? For three or four weeks past there has been considerable delay in our getting paid. I spoke to Mr Hastings & Mr Allen about it & they state that the cause of the delay is that the Statement has to be approved by you before payment.##My Clerk who attends to the Pay Roll has to pay off at menlo Park as well as Avenue B & hence if we do not get a check Friday he is unable to get to menlo Park till very late Saturday afternoon & I am compelled to have another man pay off at Avenue B.##This causes me very great inconvenience & I shall be glad if you can arrange for the Statement to be paid promptly on presentation Friday mornings.
