In conversation with a gentleman the other day Mr Edison & myself were told that under its Articles of Incorporation the Illuminating Co have no right to [increase] its Capital & further more that its organization, under the Gas Act is illegal.##This is the opinion of a prominent attorney lawyer whose name I forget.##Mr Edison thinks the matter should be looked into
