Title

[LB016272], Letter from Samuel Insull to Babcock and Wilcox, Nathaniel W Pratt, May 7th, 1883

Editor's Notes

Referring to your favor of the 1st. inst. to Mr Edison enclosing statement against the Machine Works of 3153,84, I would state that our Machine Works bookkeeper is at present away from the office in consequence of sickness. Immediately he returns Mr Edison has instructed me to look into your account, and if the claim is a current one, I will see that you get the cash for it and civility into the bargain. Mr Edison extremely regrets that your representative should have been treated in the manner related by you at our last interview.
