Editor's Notes
I am in receipt of your favor of 15th inst.##We shall get the map and the result of the Canvass of Lowell from Mr Dodge tomorrow and it will then be sent to Menlo Park and the [Construction] determined & I think you will get the detailed estimate in about two weeks. Fall River will follow a week later.##As to machines the "H." machine is to be sold to the Public for 350 lights (new Isolated Lamps). The same machine however when used in Village Plants and run by our own people will run 450 Sixteen Candle lamps or 800 Ten candle Lamps##The Isolated Coy have however on hand some 350 Light machines which can be sold to the Public to run 350 Lights but we could not work them up to 450 lights on Village Plants hence you see there are really two machines. As soon as we get rid of the nine we now have you will get the "newer" H machine. The Park Theatre can use the ones we now have on hand##You had better give us the data (i.e.) size of room for Boiler Engine &c number of light &c and I will give you an estimate of at what I will do the work for if you so desire.##The Blue Prints you ask for will go by tomorrows mail 05/16/1883 xxxTAE to Edison Electric Light Co and Borden, Spencer (Edison Co for Isolated Lighting) Electric light and power; Dynamos and generators; Isolated stations [LB016] Letterbook Series -- General Letterbooks: LB-016 (1882, 1883) [LB016354; TAEM 82:435]
