Title
[LB016438], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Dreydel (Charles) & Co, May 23rd, 1883
Editor's Notes
I am in receipt of your favor of the 30th inst. with relation to Electric Lighting in Sweden. I have telegraphed you as follows:##See my American agent Johnson, Royal Hotel London. He will settle things quickly. Take copy letter thirtieth; and hope that you have already placed yourself in communication with my representative Mr. E. H. Johnson of the Royal Hotel. Blackfriars, London EG. I very much regret that you should have met with such obstacles in your endeavor to become interested in my system of Electric Lighting in Sweden. I am however sure that you will not experience any such trouble in your transactions with Mr. Johnson who is on a visit to London from this Country as my personal representative. I have sent Mr. Johnson a copy of your cable and have asked him to do whatever is necessary in the premises. If you want to see machinery shipped from me I can arrange to do it immediately on receipt of instructions from Mr Johnson and will see that there is no such delay from this side as has taken place in London.
