- 05/25/1883 Insull, Samuel to Edison Electric Illuminating Co (Danville) and Bright, D Electric light and power; Central stations I have been requested by Mr Shaw to send you the enclosed ground plan of the proposed Central Station at Danville. the heigth of the building will be about 18 ft. to the eaves; the building will be of wood painted into two colors and the office and meter room [oiled] and finished off in two different woods; the floor of the Engine and dynamo room will in all probability be concreted.#[The] [base] as detailed plan of the building itself as our Superintendent of Construction only requires to use a ground plan from us to work by.
