Title
[LB017005], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles F Hanington, May 31st, 1883
Editor's Notes
The Co would not run mains so far from station as Field Bldg. If they want the light right off (i.e.) as soon as the bldg is finished they should buy an Isolated plant. I advise that they put in Engine & Boiler for say 500 @ 600 lilghts but only put in Dynamo for 300 to save expense if it is found [a furnace] necessary they can add another Dynamo. Even 300 lights of required is sufficient to [---] [to] saving [------------] bills.
