Title

[LB018183], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Deutsche Edison Gesellschaft, July 28th, 1884

Editor's Notes

The Edison Lamp Co. writes me as follows, in order to explain any delay there may be in filling the balance of your order:-##"Regarding the delay in shipping balance German order. The "B" lamps we hope to have ready soon, if we succeed in making them run on the volts required. We have missed twice, two lots of lamps having run too high to fill their order. These we have in stock now, with no orders for them.##The low volt ten candle power lamps we shall not be able to fill for some time, though we expect to be able to ship some soon, and to continue shipping in small quantities. The ten candle power lamps only give a small percentage of low volts of the whole number made."
