Title
[LB018252], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Lamp Co, August 19th, 1884
Editor's Notes
Mr. Lieb informs me that you shipped 100 lamps of 100 candles each to Milan, most of which proved absolutely useless. I presume that these must have belonged to some of the first lamps that were turned out. I have promised Mr. Lieb to send to Milan, without charging for same , 50 lamps of 100 candles each, to compensate the Italian Company for their loss in this connection. Will you please see that these lamps go forward with the next shipment you make to Milan.
