- I received your favor of August 22nd.##I am entirely in the dark as to what is being done in regard to Oriental Telephone in London. I simply received from Mr. Gouraud a request to send my own and all the proxies that I could obtain, and I accordingly wrote to Mr. Bell as to the matter.##If I hear from London with relation to Oriental Telephone I will let you know.
