- Editor's Notes
- I have your favor of the 15th. inst., which I would have answered earlier but for my absence from New York.##We have about 21,000 horse power of the Babcock & Wilcox boilers now in operation in connection with our business, and never knew of water coming over into the cylinder, unless from the ignorance of the engineer, oil, or some other cause which can easily be rectified. We worked the boilers under every possible condition and have tried every possible experiment with them, and I cannot understand at all why you people should have so much trouble.
