- Editor's Notes
- I have repeatedly requested you to send me a check to balance my account against your Company but have up to this writing been unable to get any satisfactory reply from you. When you were in New York last you promised to settle "within thirty days" & with the promise of an early settlement I made most liberal concessions to you in the matter of taking back material. I am much surprised at your not responding to my request for a remittance, & must ask you to make an immediate settlement. If you are unable to pay me cash I will accept a note at two or three months. What I want is something which I can use as I have not the capital to allow of my carrying large open accounts.
