Title
[LB020158C], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Compagnie Continentale Edison, March 9th, 1885
Editor's Notes
"I have your favor of Feb. 26th. complaining that a firm carrying on business under the name of "Ochard" are offering lamps in competition with your German Company. I have written to my Swiss agents drawing their attention to the matter. Some time back they were complaining very severely of the action of some of your companies in competing with them. My Swiss agents have no right under their contract obligations with me to enter into competition with either you or your subsidiary companies. I have now doubt but what the mere drawing of their attention to the matter will end it, that is if they are in any way at fault."
