Title

[LB021023], Letter from Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, October 12th, 1885

Editor's Notes

Your letters of the 6th and 8th came duly to hand and also your telegram of the 8th inst. ##From TAE's comments, I think he is of the opinion that you have chosen a very long line for the first experiments. ##You should have received all invoices and also a check for $200. If you have not, some of my letters must have miscarried. I am still of the same opinion that our last Invoices bill the goods too high, but of course it is not advisable to pick{?} on an experimental shipment. Eventually, the Canadian Custom Officials and ourselves will have to have a quarrel. ##Please keep your {-----} up close and you must not borrow money from Dwight. ##P.S. You should write often--Even if you have nothing to say {underlined}.
