- Your letters of the 6th and 8th came duly to hand and also your telegram of the 8th inst. ##From TAE's comments, I think he is of the opinion that you have chosen a very long line for the first experiments. ##You should have received all invoices and also a check for $200. If you have not, some of my letters must have miscarried. I am still of the same opinion that our last Invoices bill the goods too high, but of course it is not advisable to pick{?} on an experimental shipment. Eventually, the Canadian Custom Officials and ourselves will have to have a quarrel. ##Please keep your {-----} up close and you must not borrow money from Dwight. ##P.S. You should write often--Even if you have nothing to say {underlined}.
