Title
[LB021336], Letter from Samuel Insull to Ezra Torrance Gilliland, March 3rd, 1886
Editor's Notes
I enclose Bills of Lading per Toutina{?}. These are all I have been able to get. Park & Telford, Lewis & Conger, and James & Kirtland say they have sent their Bills of Lading. Bradford & Williams, I cannot get at. I have not got their bill (you have it, I fancy), their name is not in the Directory, and Powers does not know their address. ##I am trying to sell 200 shares of Railway Telegraph for Edison. If I succeed, I shall want the stock. Edison told me before he left that you have his stock. If I need the 200, I shall wire you. I am asking 25. I expect a bid tomorrow of 22 1/2, but I shall not accept that figure as my instructions are not to sell before 24. ##Doctor Crowell heard from McGregor this a.m. The Railway Telegraph should be working on the St. Paul Road by today, but I will advise you as soon as I hear anything. I send you the N.A. Review{?} with T.A.E.'s article in it.
