- Enclosed I beg to hand you Mr. Edison's cheque #2389{?} under date 22nd inst for $83.33, same being amount of your salary in full to 16th inst. ##Your last letter received. In regard to expenses embodied in same, I have credited your account and would have included them in this cheque had it not been written and signed before I turned your extra expense in to our bookkeeper. ##I am going down to see Mr. Wiman this morning {next few words washed out} the information for which I was waiting. I will write you immediately after my interview, giving you details to communicate to Mr. Dwight. ##I go to Baltimore tonight to make preliminary arrangements for installing circuit from Baltimore to Harper's Ferry, VA (95 miles) for the B&O Railway. Both our city circuits are in first class condition. One of them averages 400 messages per day. ##Material shipped by you arrived{?} ok.
