- Some time since I sent you Mr. Edison's holding in the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Sunbury, the understanding being that stock was to be issued in the new Company for one half the holding in the old Company. You also asked me to arrange for the Machine Works and Bergmann & Co. to take stock at fifty cents on the dollar for the amount of their old accounts against the Sunbury Co. Why is it you do not send me Mr. Edison's certificate for his stock, and also arrange to close up the matters with the Machine Works and Bergmann & Co.?. Yours very truly,
